Movies Review: Tezz

Movies Review: Tezz: Tezz implies speedy and sharp. The movie is about the speedy train, but it can't be termed as a sharp story. It's just an average story.

Aakash (Ajay Devgn) with the help of Zayed Khan and Sameera Reddy set bombs on a train from London to Glasgow. Arjun Khanna (Anil Kapoor), who retired one-day before from counter-terrorism officer was called back again to investigate the case.

Tezz derives its story from the movie Speed (1994) with the basic threat that the bombs on train will go off if the speed falls below a specified limit. Most of the action doesn't happen on or around the train. The motive of these threat is a man's vengeance against a country that deported him for being an illegal immigrant and working without permit.

The action scenes as chasing Ajay, Sameera and Zayed were well shot and never appear disturbing or distracting.

As always, Ajay Devgn lives up to his role. Anil Kapoor also acted strong in his character. Boman Irani as the train traffic-control officer is amazing in his role. Zayed Khan and Sameera Reddy's roles are best till now in any movie. Mohanlal, an officer aboard the train, has less role in the movie. Kangna Ranaut's role is very limited in the movie so nothing much can be said about her acting in the movie.

At the end, Tezz keeps you engaged in the movie and its short duration will never allow you to get bore. Overall Rating: 2.9 out of 5!
